Chevin Series by Russ Ellis
By 7pm (Race Start) it will be clear and sunny, or so said the forecast. However, that didn‘t seem plausible at 6.30pm when the sky was a very dark angry grey colour and the thunder was rumbling overhead. Regardless, the tough Yorkshire riders were busy getting changed in the carpark and attempting to warm up. Decisions were being made on whether to race in the trusty Gabba jersey or risking it in just a standard race jersey and arm warmers. There didn‘t seem to be a great deal of enthusiasm to race at this point it has to be said!
