Rich Appel who also hosted “That Thing” where it also can be heard on Rewound Radio every Sunday, and I hope that WXCT & WACM would be the first station to carry this show from Rewound Radio. And I hope the show will be doing a lot better, and I hope the show will soon to be carrying on many of the oldies station in the area like WGNY-FM’s “Fox Oldies”, WROW’s “Magic 590” and a many other stations across the country will be carrying this show “That Thing” with Rich Appel. Good luck! http://www.youtube.com/user/Musicradio77Network September 4, 2015 at 11:46 am #140481 BrammyMember More new programming for Oldies 990/1490. Tonight at 7PM is the debut of The 70s at 7. Tomorrow 6AM-9AM is The Rick Kelly Show. Marc Bramhall October 4, 2015 at 11:50 am #141712 Anonymous I stumbled across the “Nothing but 45’s” program yesterday on .990 MHz and loved it. The station has a nice 20kc wide signal and sounds crisp and clean. I was amazed at how well the WXCT signal covers north-central Connecticut given the modest power it runs. It’s easily heard from the house and also while in the car. I noticed this morning (Sunday) that it had Spanish programming so I’m unsure how often they do the oldies format and as far as I can tell there is no program guide for WXCT or WACF. Anyone have insight into the actual station schedule? Thanks, Rob October 5, 2015 at 8:46 am #141729 BrammyMember WXCT AM 990’s Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6AM-10AM The Fred King Show – Oldies Music with News, Weather, and Sports Updates Every half hour. 10AM-6AM The Greatest Oldies of All Times. 50s, 60s, 70s. Marc Bramhall December 27, 2015 at 6:50 pm #144571 wrsg915fmParticipant Check out “Saving The 70’s” with host Mike Walker…an EXCELLENT show, and, IMHO, a worthy addition to any oldies’s stations’s roster. Mike could not be easier to work with! We run a number of excellent oldies programs; the problem is that several are hour-long shows, which obviously doesn’t allow for commercials.
