The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens were completely different heading into Week 9. The last time these two teams met was in Pittsburgh in Week 4 and the Ravens dominated them. This time around, Pittsburgh defeated Baltimore 23-16. With the Steelers trailing 3-0 in the first, James Conner caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger. Conner finished with seven receptions for 56 yards receiving and a score. He also rushed for 107 yards on 24 carries. In the second-quarter, Ben Roethlisberger threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown. Brown finished with five receptions for 42 yards receiving and a touchdown. JuJu Smith-Schuster was the Steelers leading receiver with seven receptions for 78 yards receiving. Ben Roethlisberger completed 28-of-47 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for four yards on two carries and a touchdown. With Pittsburgh up 14-6 in the third, Roethlisberger scored on a 1-yard touchdown run (missed extra point).
