Hellebuyck Shutout Puts Wild on Brink - Pro Sports Fandom
After giving up six goals in Game 3, Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck bounced back in Game 4 by posting a 30-save shutout and sparking the Jets to a 2-0 win against the Minnesota Wild. Winnipeg leads this series 3-1 and Minnesota is now on the brink of elimination. Mark Scheifele scored both goals for the Winnipeg Jets. He scored with 28 seconds remaining in the first period and he scored an empty-net goal with 11 seconds remaining in regulation. Devan Dubnyk played well for the Minnesota Wild by stopping 26 shots. Zach Praise missed Game 4 with a fractured sternum during Game 3 and this is a week-to-week injury. The Jets have to chance to advance to the second round with a win on Friday Night in Game 5 back in Winnipeg.
