After the Chicago Bears called their version of the “Philly Special” down 27-20 with one second to go in regulation, Tarik Cohen threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Miller as time expired. Chicago tied the game with the extra point and the game went to overtime. The New York Giants got the ball first in overtime. Aldrick Rosas made a 44-yard field goal. The Chicago Bears got the ball then the Giants defense made a stand and New York held on for a 30-27 victory in overtime. On the second play of the game, Alec Ogletree picked off Chase Daniel and he returned it eight yards for a touchdown. Later in the first, Daniel threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Adam Shaheen. Shaheen caught two passes for five yards receiving and a score. Chase Daniel completed 26-of-39 passes for 285 yards one touchdown and two interceptions. He rushed for four yards on four carries. Chase Daniel started his second straight game because of a shoulder injury to Mitchell Trubisky. Aaron Hicks scored on a 1-yard touchdown run for the Bears in the second quarter.
