De'Andre Hunter and Jarrett Culver Teammates Next Season? - Pro Sports Fandom
The NBA Draft is a little bit over two months away. The Texas Tech Raiders played the Virginia Cavaliers in the NCAA title game yesterday and Virginia walked away with a 85-77 victory in overtime. It was the Cavaliers first NCAA title in school history. With that being said, De’Andre Hunter of Virginia and Jarrett Culver of Texas Tech are both projected to be lottery picks in the 2019 NBA Draft. They are both sophomores. I thought about the possibility this morning of Hunter and Culver possibly being teammates next season in the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks currently have two first-round picks and both of them are projected to be lottery picks. If the season ended right now, Atlanta would have the fifth overall pick and they would also have the eighth overall pick from the Dallas Mavericks. That pick was acquired in the Luka Doncic trade last season for Trae Young. The possibility of a Young, Culver, and Hunter core could provide a bright future in Atlanta. Trae Young could very well win rookie of the year in the NBA. Jarrett Culver has very good mental toughness and he is projected to be picked between 5-10 and so is [...]
