Orchard Corset Welcomes Tess Holliday Back to the Pacific Northwest!
Plus-sized model Tess Holliday visits Orchard Corset Tess Holliday is returning to Orchard Corset next month and we are so excited!! Does she look familiar? She should, she was on the cover of last week’s People magazine. Since she signed with MiLK Model Management in January, Tess has been busier than usual, setting the modeling world on fire as the largest plus-size model to be signed to a mainstream modeling agency. Not only that, but she still continues with her battle to change the way media looks at beauty with her body positive activism and her #effyourbeautystandards movement. If you haven’t followed this awesome creation of hers, go type #effyourbeautystandards on Instagram. You’ll be in awe of the inspiration this woman has provided and is to so many beautiful people (No, really. Go ahead and look, I’ll wait…). Awesome, right? It’s been a few years since Tess last visited us in Wenatchee and we feel so humbled that she has made time in her crazy, busy schedule to come see us again! We’ll be catching up on everything she’s been doing and, perhaps, trying on some fab Orchard Corset corsets! Okay, I kid, you know we’ll totally be trying on corsets! But, what’s even more exciting, is that the visit will end with a trip to see our friends, Trixie and Lance, at Old School Pinups in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, where we will be co-hosting a Meet and Greet! That’s right, I said a Meet and Greet with Tess Holliday! We’ll definitely have a great time with hor d’oeuvres and wine (for those of us of age), photo ops, corset fittings (you didn’t really think we’d come all that way and not bring goodies to try and buy, did you?), and door prizes! Does it even get any better than that? I didn’t think so. Tickets for this fab event were released this morning and sold out fast! We can’t wait to meet the 100 fans who were able to get them.
