The greatest comeback story of all time
Over 3,000 years ago a young pharaoh was laid to rest in a very ritualized manner designed to ensure his survival and deification in the afterlife. Tutankhamun was entombed with four rooms full of artistically exquisite necessities of this transition. The exhibit titled Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs features over 50 items from the tomb discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. Another 50 artifacts reveal the likeness of other great rulers of ancient Egypt and hint at the reverence in which they were held.
