Some people workout to relieve stress...I chop vegetables to find my inner calm. I love to cook and be creative in the kitchen and love the memories created from getting together with friends and enjoying food. I am passionate about learning about food and raising a little lion to enjoy delicious home made dishes so that when he goes out he can say 'My mama makes it better'. When I first decided to venture in to the world of blogging, I knew I needed to combine my love for all things food with the emotion and mood that occurs as a result. Food is such an amazing way to create memories and to tap in to what is really going on with you in that moment...when I am feeling nostaligic, I tend to want to cook the things that remind me of those times and bring me back to some really fond memories, when I am feeling happy, I love to share that love and positivity with those around me, when i'm feeling lonely-I normally want to cook things that are comforting to me because it's like making a meal that provides me with a subliminal hug.
