Drusillas Park Halloween Adventure Halloween seems to to be rapidly consuming October half term. I hope that we won’t spend our entire week dressed up in ghoulish outfits and consuming excessive sugar, but Halloween will certainly feature heavily. Last year we took the opportunity to grab some winter sun in Tenerife, where we actually experienced more rain than we had bargained for. This year we are planning an October stay-cation. This could have its advantages; last year my seven year old found it very hard to forgive me for being on a plane home on ‘trick-or-treat’ night. However, a stay-cation will take more planning. Sadly we won’t be losing any days lying around a pool watching the girls quarrel over inflatables this year… we will need a couple of exciting days out, time with friends and family we don’t get to see in term time, and lots of rest & relaxation.
