Mammoth food and drink festival Chow Down kicked off its summer with their Guest Host, Lincoln Castle | | Lincolnshire In Focus
Following the belting success of the Easter Weekender at Lincoln Castle, which brought 15,000 food and drink fans into the grounds between 19-22nd April, organisers are expecting an even bigger turn out for the Summer Weekender, set to be held from the 28-30th June. Having held their inaugural Chow Down festivals last year in the central piazza of Halifax's marvellous Grade I-listed Piece Hall, Chow Down added some guest dates this year, and Lincoln Castle is the magnificent site of choice for two Chow Down festival weekenders. The biggest Northern food festival attracted more than 120,000 food fans over 4 weekends last summer, and this year's festival season was kicked off with a bang with the Easter Weekender at Lincoln Castle.
