Barrie Rutter OBE and Rosie Millard OBE to be appointed as Patrons of Hull Truck Theatre | | Lincolnshire In Focus
This January, Hull Truck Theatre announce the appointment of Rosie Millard OBE and Barrie Rutter OBE as inaugural members of a new Patrons scheme. Rosie Millard OBE is CEO of Children and the Arts, a charity which works across the UK to engage children and young people with great art. She is a former Arts Correspondent of the BBC and a national journalist and broadcaster. She is Chair of BBC Children in Need and has a very special relationship with Hull. She is a Hull University alumna and has an Honorary Doctorate from the University. She was Chair of Hull UK City of Culture 2017, during which time she worked closely with Hull Truck Theatre. She appeared on stage in James Graham's The Culture, an experience which she said was one of the most nerve-wracking moments of the entire year for her.
