Mailed! To our home! As an enthusiastic 14-year-old fan of Walt Disney World I poured over the concept art and descriptions of the new futuristic theme park that was taking shape a mere 45 minutes away from our house. One of the smart choices of the book’s designer was to open each section covering a pavilion with a flood of solid color and a huge rendition of the logo Norm Inouye designed for it. I didn’t know it then, but the brilliantly designed identity system ultimately made me aware of graphic design and undoubtedly influenced my decision to study the field in college and ultimately make it my profession. In June of 2002 I thought it would be great to have the logos available to use as desktop backgrounds, so I scanned each of them in the preview book and removed the moire patterns from the four color reproductions. Note that there is no logo for the Living Seas as it was considered a “future” attraction and the logo was not included at a large size. EPCOT Center on eBay
