Can You Judge a Book by Its Cover? | J.R. Sedivy
Everyone knows the famous and often quoted statement that you can’t judge a book by its cover. This generally means that you shouldn’t overlook something of potential value due to an outer appearance or presentation that may appear to be lacking. In other words, the outer packaging may not be indicative of the inner content. This statement is so often repeated and appears to make sense, at least from a surface layer and at first glance. Over the course of my life I’ve considered this statement to be true for the most part. However recently I’ve come to a somewhat different conclusion based on knowledge and wisdom gained through individual spiritual studies and meditation.
