Requiem: a story for now, but hopefully not forever - Irene Frances Olson - Mainstream Contemporary Fiction
The word requiem refers to an act of remembrance and the mourning that ensues as a result. A loved one with dementia changes in minuscule - and sometimes grand - ways on a daily basis. There is no cure for Alzheimer's, that is why REQUIEM FOR THE STATUS QUO is so relevant, although I sincerely wish it was not.
