It was a pretty risky move, nearly a decade ago, for Chevrolet to drop its mini-van and mid-size SUV, then replace both with a full-size crossover. Following the similar Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook, the bow-tie gang hit it out of the park. The big ute was quiet, comfortable, and elegantly styled.
