Merci. *** 9318 Mr. David Bindernagel, CD, (file photo) 9318 Mr. David Bindernagel, CD, has been awarded the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. Between 1994-95, then- Captain (N) Bindernagel was the last Commandant of Royal Roads Military College. Subsequent to the closure of RRMC in 1995, and specifically for the past 18 years, Dave has worked tirelessly to preserve the military history of this unique site and to organize annual Homecoming events at Royal Roads. In 2015 Dave organized a Sunset Ceremony at Royal Roads University, which included Cadets from RMC and the USAFA, to celebrate 75 years of leadership and learning at this National Historic Site: 55 of those 75 years were as a naval or military college. In 2017, he was crucial to the establishment of a partnership with the RCMP Musical Ride, allowing the event to create a venue located on the University grounds. The Sovereign’s Medal will recognize Dave Bindernagel’s long voluntary service which has increased and preserved the military history of Royal Roads. Military College and Royal Roads University. Absent, mais recevant également la Prime au mérite du SMA(Mat) sont le lcol (ret) Yves Turcotte [DEMPET-11] et le maj (ret) Thomas Long [DEMPET-11] » The ADM(Mat) Anvil Ceremony took place on 14 November 2019 at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau, QC. 17192 Dr. Sylvain Leblanc (CMR 1990) was awarded the ADM(Mat) Award of Merit by Mr. Troy Crosby, ADM(Mat) which citation reads “for an exceptional and distinguished contribution to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Public Service and the Material Group”. The nomination has Dr. Leblanc, along with LCol (Ret’d) Yves Turcotte, Maj (Ret’d) Thomas Long and Maj Leonard Picoutlagan, all three of the Directorate of Land Equipment Programme Staff (DLEPS-11), receiving the ADM(Mat) Merit Award for planning, coordination and execution of the first Canadian Army Cyber Mission Assurance Workshop in Ottawa on 27 November 2018, is presented to the organizing team based around DLEPS 11 staff and RMCC. In a triumph of commitment and determination, the team provided the leadership and the organizational effort while rightly giving the Canadian Army center stage in the delivery of the workshop. // La Cérémonie de l’enclume du SMA(Mat) a eu lieu le 14 novembre 2019 au Palais de congrès de Gatineau, QC. 17192 M. Leblanc, avec le lcol (ret) Yves Turcotte, le maj (ret) Thomas Long et le maj Leonard Pitcoutlagan, tous trois du Directorat – État-major du programme d’équipement Terrestre (DEMPET-11), recevant la Prime au mérite du SMA(Mat) pour la planification, coordination et exécution du premier Atelier sur l’assurance de la cyber mission à Ottawa le 27 novembre 2018 est présentée à l’équipe organisationnelle composée de personnels de DEMPET 11 et du CMRC.
