Random thoughts on the issue of an 'open mind'
They say that minds are like parachutes - they function only when open. Having an open mind means being receptive to new and different ideas or the opinions of others. I am regularly accused of lacking this quality. Most recently, an acupuncturist questioned whether acupuncture-sceptics, and I in particular, have an open mind.
