We only rate places we Eatrz founders, Lisa and Rodney, decided it would be better to get paid to eat and drink than to work regular jobs. There had to be some way to rank our selected sites for b/vlogging. The culture of California uses 5 stars and The Michelin Guide uses a 3 star rating system. We give meaning to our ratings in terms being worth a trip and anyone we give a star to we feel is worth going to, like The Michelin Guide, but we are using a maximum of 5 stars. The higher the rating, the farther we would go for the experience. Our standards are described below along with what we would spend above the costs to relive the experience: Standards 5 Stars Price we would pay for transportation = $500 + “Outstanding cuisine, travel, or drinking experience, worth a plane ticket to get there” 4 Stars $200 “Impressive cuisine, travel, or drinking experience, worth a full tank of gas in a Hummer H1 to get there” 3 Stars $75 “Excellent cuisine, travel, or drinking experience, worth a full tank of gas to get there” 2 Stars $20 “Excellent cuisine, travel, or drinking experience, worth a full tank of gas in a moped to get there” 1 Star $5 “A great restaurant, travel, or wine tasting experience in its class, worth taking a detour” Search Blogs by Category: Visit About Sections:
