Labo Kit for Nintendo Switch Announced
The latest Nintendo Switch news is the unveiling of Labo VR Kit. The gaming giant, Nintendo, has announced Labo line of DIY cardboard accessories to turn the Nintendo Switch into a makeshift VR kit. This is similar to how Google was able to turn the smartphone into a VR portable through Cardboard. Nintendo Labo: VR Kit aims to offer unique first VR experience for Switch. "We wanted to design an experience that encourages both virtual and real-world interactions among players through passing around Toy-Con creations," Doug Bowser, incoming Nintendo of America president, explained in a statement. The new Labo VR Toy-Con comes in a variety of packages. The complete Nintendo Labo VR Kit is priced at $79.99 which includes VR goggles and software in addition to five cardboard sets: Wind Pedal, Elephant, Bird, Blaster and Camera. There's also an additional screen holder and safety cap included. The sets are made for ages 6 and up for the construction; and 7 and up for the in-VR experiences.
