The Ambiance Singers
The Ambiance Singers is a vibrant and passionate group of twenty women who gather together to celebrate their love of music. Audiences of the choir are treated to a salute to musical genres from Broadway to Swing, Gospel to R&B and Pop. The ensemble performs under the leadership of Musical Director Danny McErlain, a well-known Toronto musician who has performed in venues from Roy Thomson Hall to Carnegie Hall. An Annual Charity Concert is held each spring at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga , and includes a featured guest appearance. Guests have included JUNO-nominated vocalist Heather Bambrick, Canada's Sweetheart of Swing Alex Pangman, and renowned trumpeter Guido Basso. The ensemble also performs annually at Black Creek Pioneer Village's Christmas by Candlelight Program, and at a multitude of private and corporate events.
