Helen Dale, known for a time by her pen name Helen Demidenko, is an Australian writer and lawyer who writes for The Spectator magazine. She explains the importance of Scottish humour and the difference in Scottish Law. In the 13 years of Labour Government (1997-2010) more laws were passed than in over 900 years (1066-1997). The oppressive legislation that is being used by the current Conservative Government was brought in by Labour.
