Afternoon Tea: Chatter of the Week, 17-Feb-19 - Bubbly Booknerd
Welcome back to my ‘weekend update’ post! Inspired by my love of formal afternoon tea where all the catching-ups, gossips, and giggles are had. I enjoy having tea alone with a good book, but I always look forward to afternoon tea with my mom and sister as we have the absolute best time together! Here you’ll find what I finished reading within the past week, what I added to my GR TBR, what I posted on my blog, and what I’ve found interesting to read on other blogs. {Almost} Finished Reading A Treacherous Curse Veronica Speedwell, Book 3 By Deanna Raybourn I hope to finish this wonderful installment of the Veronica Speedwell mysteries today! The characters, pacing, and mystery of each book is so captivating. I can’t get enough of the banter between Veronica and Stoker! 💕 Book 3 incorporates Egyptology and has reminded me that I really need to pick up the Amelia Peabody mysteries by Elizabeth Peters!! I was recommended them by my aunt (a university librarian) in 2015 and I have no excuse for not picking them up yet… Added to my TBR ~ One can never get carried away! 🙃 ~ Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge by Paul Krueger Say You’ll Remember Me by Katie McGarry Witchmark by C.L.
