I started out in this business working with small Cisco Routers to control and dial up Inmarsat Satellite Systems on Yachts ... and also to provide wireless and wired connections (on board networking) for these and other systems. I have since worked with VSAT, WiFi Client Router Systems, Landline Connections, and 3G - 4G LTE (LTE-A, LTE-A PRO) Systems. Before marine I worked in Two-Way Radio, Radio Manufacturing, Vehicle Tracking, Alarm Systems Dispatching and Support, and Internet Service Providers (large and small) including Tech Support and Systems / Network Administration. All that preceded by 4 years U.S. Navy on a 214 Foot Ocean Going Salvage and Towing Vessel ... as Radioman, Signalman, and Navigation (QMOW.)
