"Rejoice" Festive Candle Card
Hello Crafty Friends! ‘Tis the season to start on those holiday cards! I know, I know. It is “only” October – but if you are anything like me, you have to rush make some last-minute cards right before the holidays. I seem to do this every year! However, with the newly-released A Way With Words dies and stamps I can get several beautiful cards produced quickly. Today’s card can be easily reproduced with festive results. Card Instructions: Step 1 – Create a top-fold card base from white cardstock. Step 2 – Die cut gingham paper (or a patterned paper of your choice) using the Stitched Rectangle die. Mount to card front with Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape. Step 3 – Die cut wood grain patterned paper using smaller Stitched Rectangle and mount to card front. Step 4 – Die cut candle from red cardstock and light blue glitter cardstock. Die cut wax ‘drip’ and flame from white cardstock. Using liquid adhesive, mount blue glitter cardstock to front of card. Using liquid adhesive, mount the red die cut to blue glitter die cut, offset slightly to create a shadow effect. Use a bit of foam tape behind the white wax …
