Masking and Mixing
Hi Everyone! It’s Karen here. My cards today include a few of my favorite things. They have flowers, they have a combo of Kraft and white papers, and they have adorable Elizabeth Craft Design images! Perfect! My post shows how I do masking using sticky notes. I am also mixing it up using two stamp sets on each of the two cards. Here are the steps I used to make the cards: Step 1. From 100lb White Soft-Finish Cardstock, cut a rectangle measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″; score at 5.5″ and fold in half to create a top-fold card base. Step 2. Cut two pieces of Kraft card stock at 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Die cut a piece of the Wood Effects 12×12 paper using the Dotted Scallop die. Cut the die cut in half and adhere each half to a piece of the Kraft card stock. Step 3. Die cut each Kraft/wood piece using the Dashing Rectangle die that is 4″ x 5-1/4″. Step 4. Using permanent black ink, stamp the image that is in FRONT first. (For this first card it is the kitty from the Garden Party Clear Stamps, and for the second card it is the butterfly from …
