City Announces First Public Workshop Concerning Alder Street
The city has announced the first public workshop to review street design concepts and options on Alder St between 13th Ave and Franklin Blvd, and 13th Ave between Alder and Kincaid. WeBikeEugene has previously covered the five design options being considered for the project, including the possibility of building Eugene's first cycletrack. The announcement has been making the rounds, including postcards sent out to stakeholders. This is a chance for the cycling community to show support for the cycling friendly options, and opposition to the less desirable options.
