[Review] Disarming Detective By Elizabeth Heiter - The Sweet Escape
I noted this in my notes while reading this story but I would have enjoyed this novel so much more if it had been straight suspense/mystery. The romantic element was extremely forced and unbelievable. My eyes glazed over any mention of attraction (which occurs, basically, on night one). I am amazed that professionals view a case in which people are losing their lives with the thought, "I've got to solve this HEINOUS CRIME. And also my partner is really hot. We're going to solve this murder but first we need to almost have sex several times and then we just need to give in and also I love you but I have only know you six days..."
