Hayley Williams Misery Business Inspired Makeup - The Rebel Planner
Hayley Williams is one of my style icons. The risks she takes with fashion and her love for color inspires me to try new things and wear color that’s outside of my comfort zone. One of Hayley’s iconic looks is the makeup and hair she had in Paramore’s music video for “Misery Business.” So of course I had to try and recreate it! I may be 9 years too late, but better late than never, right? To start off my eyes, I applied a primer and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as a white base. The white base will help the colors pop more. Most of the eyeshadows I used were from Sugarpill, and while the colors are pigmented, they benefit from that white base. I first started by applying Sugarpill Buttercupcake to the inner lid to about halfway of the lid. I packed it on using a stiff concealer brush. This yellow isn’t as bright as the one Hayley used, but it’s what I had! This would probably look brighter over a yellow base.
