The Jewish holiday of Sukkot is coming up at the end of this month, which means it's time for some family fun in the Siempre Verde Community Garden. Once again, they're teaming up with their neighbor, the Stanton Street Shul. Here's the invite: We’re shooting for some Harvest Holiday Fun with a great children’s program: a Stanton Kids Sukkah Decorating Party with holiday themed crafts, songs, & snacks. What could be better than creating art and learning about Sukkot—a harvest holiday—in a Lower East Side garden? In partnership with the Siempre Verde Garden (181 Stanton St., we invite kids of all ages, friends and families, to come decorate the Stanton Street Shul Sukkah (harvest hut) on September 20th @ noon.
