He closed his eyes and slept!
Noah was pulling my arm to go to our room to sleep. He still nurses himself to sleep, and there are times when he asks for milk in the middle of the night. At 8 weeks old he started sleeping through the night, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. like clockwork! Somewhere around four to six months old, he started asking for milk mid of the night and that has often been the case until now (he is two years and four months old and I have gotten used to it). Yesterday mid of the night he would wake up and ask for milk, and I was telling him no milk until Mr. Sun is out. He cried a lot to sleep. It was probably three cycles of that. It's something I try once in a while to see where he is in his feeding journey. It's been so long since I last tried that. In embracing fully the present and mostly because it takes more energy to not give him milk, I didn't mind anymore that I often don't get a straight 8-hour sleep. I just knew that when Noah's old enough, I can talk him out of it. But I never thought
