New Featurette For M. Night Shyamalan's SPLIT - Movies In Focus
Split might be great. I get the feeling it could be M.Night Shyamalan‘s best film since his hugely under-rated The Village in 2004 (jeez, is that really 13 years ago?). Last year’s The Visit was a step towards that type of cinematic wonder (read the Movies In Focus review) and Split could just take us back over that threshold – or close to it. Night Shyamalan returns to the captivating grip of The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs with Split, an original thriller that delves into the mysterious recesses of one man’s fractured, gifted mind. Following last year’s breakout hit The Visit, Shyamalan reunites with producer Jason Blum (The Purge and Insidious series, The Gift) for the film.
