It’s official – Matt Reeves’ The Batman will arrive on June 25, 2021. That puts Batman back into his usual June/July home following a brief flirtation with different dates (Batman Vs Superman dropped in April and Justice League hit in November). It would also seem to be official that Ben Affleck has departed the role, with the focus apparently being on a younger Bruce Wayne/Batman (something that we’ve pretty much known for years!).
