Ever since Mandie’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2008, Mandie has been a huge advocate for breast cancer research and prevention. It was through these efforts that she became involved with the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, which is a three day long, sixty mile walk that takes place in almost 15 cities yearly throughout the United States. This year (2016), Mandie will be walking in her seventh 3-Day walk in San Diego, and she plans to keep walking until we live in a world without breast cancer – and then she’ll be looking for a new cause to champion. Each year, there is a $2300 fund raising MINIMUM, and Mandie is still working toward that goal. If you can, please donate. There is a $5 minimum donation, and every dollar seriously counts.
