March and April in Review - Jessthetics
Beautiful pastel coloured houses in Northern Ireland! James and I on my birthday Dunnottar Castle Rolling hills near Haworth! The fog in Edinburgh. We saw it arriving like some kind of apocalyptic cloud and drove to the top of Blackford Hill to watch. Birthday drinks in The Newsroom. Mine was basically a glass of rum with a cherry in it! My March was very uneventful so I decided not to write my regular monthly review post about it. I had a lot of assignments so I spent most of my time in the library. The countryside is right in their doorstep but they can commute into Leeds easily for work and to do fun stuff on the weekends. It’s definitely somewhere I would consider living in the future! Back in Edinburgh, I submitted my dissertation proposal and day tripped up to Stonehaven to visit the Dunnottar Castle – it’s definitely one of the most dramatic castles I’ve ever visited! It’s ruined but there’s enough of it left that you can spend the best part of an afternoon exploring. I celebrated my birthday on the 29th with cocktails, vegan party food and wearing as many sequins as possible and I just accepted a part time job …
