Unnatural is naturally a gay teenage vampire novel | gay male vampire
I've been keeping an upcoming book under my cape lately, not because I wanted to hide what will probably be a great book, but because what good would telling everyone when you still can't buy it. Well on Tuesday, Unnatural by Michael Griffo will be released. The first in at least three books in the Archangel Academy series, Unnatural sets the stage for a teenage vampire private school love story series, finally. Main character Michael Howard meets Ronan Glynn-Rowley at Archangel Academy, an all-boys school in Eden, a rural town in north western England. Both are outcasts and decried as unnatural, Michael because he's gay, and Ronan because he's a hybrid vampire. But when Ronan, afraid to reveal his true self to Michael, turns him into a vampire against his will, both become drawn into a dangerous new world, where traditional vampires plot to destroy hybrids, and where fellow students, teachers, even their own families have unexpected secrets. Yes, this is about a gay teenager who becomes a vampire. Take that Twilight! Unnatural will be released on February 22 in print (and March 1 for the iPad and Kindle). Two further novels will be released in August (Unwelcome) and next year (Unafraid). Published by Kensington Books which has previously brought us Bound in Blood, Masters of Midnight, Midnight Hunger and Midnight Thirsts. This is the first time Kensington has brought readers a gay teenage vampire novel, so it's about time.
