Hi, guys! Sorry for the very long hiatus from blogging! Anyway, last June, I flew to Osaka with my good friend Farrah; it’s our first time to travel abroad together! The trip was arranged by JTB Philipines so we didn’t need to worry about anything! Like I always say, if you’re planning a trip to japan (especially if it’s your first time, I highly recommend JTB)! Our first stop straight from the airport was Osaka Castle. I consider myself lucky that I got to visit the second time around (hopefully, not the last!). The construction of Osaka Castle (大阪城, Ōsakajō) started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Toyotomi Hideyoshi intended the castle to become the center of a new, unified Japan under Toyotomi rule. It was the largest castle at the time. Here are 4 things you can do while you’re in the area!
