In Polarized Times, We Need to Learn How to Learn, Together
We are amidst colliding transformative forces in almost every aspect of our lives and this swirl of change threatens to isolate us from one another and from the future that we yearn for. I believe we need massive collaborative learning to help us create the path forward. We can’t begin to know everything we need to learn—by definition, we don’t know what we don’t know. But after 30 years of helping leaders and organizations change, I do have some thoughts about what we can do to leverage what we know from cognitive science, neuroscience, social movement building and business transformation and create environments that enable the learning we need. In today’s polarized environment, it’s easy to spot what others need to learn. But, the truth is I need to learn. You need to learn, we need to learn. Let’s talk about how we can do that together.
