UPDATE: Susquehanna River Crests in Luzerne County
WEST PITTSTON, Pa. -- A sigh of relief could be heard all across the Wyoming Valley as the swollen Susquehanna River, well out of its banks, crested before causing a major impact. "I don't think there is a danger of flooding in the town today because it's supposed to crest around 29.5 feet," said Leonard Stadts of West Nanticoke.
