U.S. Marshal Killed, Officers Wounded During Harrisburg Shootout
HARRISBURG -- A U.S. Marshal is dead, and two police officers are wounded after a shootout with a gunman Thursday morning in Harrisburg. That deadly shooting happened around 6 a.m. while officers were serving an arrest warrant at a home on Mulberry Street in Harrisburg. According to police, multiple officers were serving a warrant shortly after 6 a.m., to Shayla Pierce, 30, of Harrisburg on charges of illegal firearm possession, that resulted in the use of force and gunfire.
