Jury Selection Starts in Spanier Trial
HARRISBURG -- Former Penn State University President Graham Spanier was in court Monday for the start of his trial. Spanier is charged with endangering the welfare of children in connection with the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. Jury selection started Monday in Harrisburg out of a pool of close to 150 people. By the end of the day, 12 jurors were selected. Four alternates need to be picked Tuesday and then opening statements will start.
