New Gun Law to Protect Victims of Domestic Abuse
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- A new law meant to protect domestic violence victims across Pennsylvania went into effect on Wednesday. Now, gun owners who have a PFA against them will have to turn over their guns to law enforcement. This new law was first signed in October, and instead of months to turn over weapons, as of Wednesday, gun owners with PFAs against them only have 24 hours to give their firearms to law enforcement.
