Former New Yorkers Reflect on 9/11
MOUNT POCONO, Pa. -- Victor Ordonez lives in the Poconos now, but 17 years ago, on September 11, 2001, he lived in Queens, New York. He says he regretfully skipped school to hang out with friends in the city. They were at a cafe, just blocks away from the World Trade Center. "I mean, all I saw in the beginning was just the building come down. This big cloud of smoke coming towards you. It's like that movie 'Mist,' just a big cloud of smoke coming at you, and that was it. I mean, a lot of screaming. It was terrifying. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it," said Ordonez.
