Road Closed in Jessup Due to Mine Subsidence
JESSUP, Pa. -- Crews are working to fix a big hole in the middle of Route 247, known as Church Street, in Jessup. PennDOT officials called it a mine subsidence. "I think it's dangerous because a person like me that's not aware of it, especially if it happened when it was still dark out, what happens? You could get killed," said Dale Schank of Daleville.
