PSU Coach Responds to ‘Racist’ Letter Sent to Player
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State football coach James Franklin had some strong words Tuesday after a fan sent a letter that some consider racist. Franklin didn't mention the letter itself but did say the football he loves brings people together. Penn State has one of the best defenses in college football. The Nittany Lions are allowing 7.4 points per game, the second best mark in the country. They're led in part by junior safety Jonathan Sutherland, who according to Franklin, is one of the more respected players on the team.
