Beep Baseball Tournament for Blind Being Held in Ames
AMES, Iowa -- A group of Iowa baseball players is gearing up for an important tournament this week. The Beep Baseball World Series begins Sunday in Ames. Beep baseball is an adaptive sport for those who are blind or partially blind. The rules of the game are similar to standard play baseball, except players here wear blindfolds and hit a 16-inch beeping ball and run to two bases, not three.
