Northern Iowa Still Facing Hazardous Travel Conditions
WEBSTER CITY, Iowa -- For travelers along and north of Highway 20, blowing snow continues to make travel difficult Wednesday. “It was tough. It was 100 percent wind, snow blowing. It was so bad you couldn’t see where you were going,” said Wendell Shellenbarger. Shellenbarger was driving from Des Moines to Fort Dodge as a volunteer for LifeServe Blood Center. He was transporting blood for a patient in the hospital.
