Babysitter charged with murder, sex abuse in 16-month-old’s death
NEW YORK -- The babysitter accused of killing a New York toddler by "slamming the baby's face to the ground" and "shoving a Crayola pencil up his rectum" was arraigned Tuesday on murder, manslaughter and sexual abuse charges. The 16-month-old, Anthony Delgado, died on Sunday after sustaining “blunt force injuries to the head and torso," Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson told the New York Daily News.
