Jury sides with Salem in K-9 dog attack
SALEM, Ore. (AP) _ A jury has ruled against a man who sued the city of Salem after he was bitten by a police dog. The Statesman Journal reports ( ) John Hillebrand sought $1 million for physical pain, emotional harm and legal fees. Hillebrand alleged that police entered his Salem home for a search in February 2013 and commanded a German Shephed named Dillon to bite him while he was asleep.
