Officer-involved shooting sends man to hospital with critical injuries
SEATTLE, Wash. -- What started as a domestic violence call ended in an officer-involved shooting that sent one man to the hospital with critical injuries. It happened on the 1900 block of South Dearborn Street in Seattle’s Central District Sunday afternoon around 1:45. Seattle Police say they arrived to the area for a report of a suicidal man chasing his partner with a kitchen chopping knife out in the front of their home. They say officers arrived just three minutes later and contacted the victim, and the suspect was no longer there.
